1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using any Maroon Horizon Ltd. service, endpoint, website, or API (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Who we are
The Services are operated by Maroon Horizon Ltd. (Company Registration Number 575569). Support can be contacted at info@mh.ie.
3. Scope of the Services
The Services may include:
- Encrypted download bundle delivery (e.g., threat-feed bundles and AI signature/model bundles) for the PRO plugin;
- Service responses that include metadata and time-limited download links;
- Operational security controls and abuse prevention.
The WordPress.org FREE plugin runs locally for its free feature set and does not require the mh.ie Services. PRO functionality is provided via a separate PRO plugin and may require the Services.
4. Accounts, licensing and third parties
Licensing, billing, and delivery of commercial plugin updates may be handled by third-party providers (for example, a licensing and commerce platform). Your use of those third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without authorization;
- Access or attempt to access data not intended for you;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services (including rate abuse, denial-of-service, or automated scraping);
- Reverse engineer, decrypt, or attempt to circumvent encryption or access controls on bundles;
- Use the Services in violation of applicable law.
6. Service availability and changes
We strive to keep the Services available, but they are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time, including for maintenance, security, or compliance reasons.
7. Security and integrity
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your WordPress site, server, and credentials. You must keep any license keys and site credentials confidential. You will promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access related to the Services.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, APIs, endpoints, and downloadable bundles, are owned by Maroon Horizon Ltd. or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited right to access and use the Services as permitted by these Terms.
9. Fees and refunds (where applicable)
Where a paid plan applies, fees, billing cycles, and refunds are governed by the checkout and licensing provider’s terms and policies, unless otherwise stated at purchase. If you have billing questions, contact info@mh.ie.
10. Disclaimers
Security products reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. We do not guarantee that the Services will detect or prevent all threats, that the Services will be uninterrupted, or that all content will be error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maroon Horizon Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amounts paid by you to Maroon Horizon Ltd. for the Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Services, or created risk or legal exposure. You may stop using the Services at any time.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Courts located in Ireland will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates when changes were made. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
